IVF with Egg Donation Journey Planner

Embarking on an IVF journey with egg donation is a significant step for many intended parents. It offers a pathway to parenthood when using your own eggs is not an option due to various factors, such as diminished ovarian reserve or genetic concerns. This journey provides the opportunity to experience pregnancy and childbirth while welcoming your child with the help of a donor.

When to Consider IVF with Egg Donation:

  • Ovarian Challenges: Conditions like diminished ovarian reserve or premature ovarian failure.
  • Genetic Concerns: Risk of inherited disorders that can be avoided using donor eggs.
  • Health Conditions: Medical issues like PCOS or endometriosis affecting egg quality.
  • Age Factors: Advanced maternal age impacting egg viability.

Regulatory Considerations in Georgia:

According to Georgian regulations, intended parents are not required to provide a marriage certificate or proof of cohabitation for an egg donation journey. However, if there is potential for surrogacy in the future, being legally prepared is wise. This involves having relationship proof and choosing a known egg donor, as anonymous donors cannot be part of a surrogacy agreement, which requires notarized contracts involving the egg donor, surrogate, and intended parents.

Planning the Journey:

We begin by collecting medical checkups from both intended parents. It is crucial to ensure that the intended mother is medically approved for embryo transfer before embryos are created. This proactive approach guarantees that any underlying medical conditions are identified and addressed upfront, assuring that her body is ready to support a successful pregnancy. By confirming her readiness in advance, we avoid creating embryos that might not be utilized, ensuring that every step taken is purposeful and aligned with the intended parents’ path to parenthood.

The repeated test on Rubella IgM needs to be negative and Rubella IgG – positive.

Please note that medical evaluations are often adjusted to individual needs and results may vary. If any of mentioned medical checkup results reveals values that indicate the necessity for further related assessments to provide a more accurate evaluation, the medical team may recommend additional checkups. The purpose of these additional examinations is to gather more information and ensure a comprehensive understanding of the individual’s health status.

Simultaneously, intended parents can select an egg donor from our database with guidance from our team, allowing for smooth progress once agreements are signed.

Journey Recommendations:

Understanding the complexities involved in synchronizing egg donor preparation, embryo creation (doing PGS, in case required), and endometrial preparation for the intended parent, Infinite Surrogacy has crafted a thoughtful and structured approach. This carefully designed journey prioritizes smoothness and accuracy, ensuring you experience a stress-free process without concerns about timing and synchronization. Our aim is to provide you with peace of mind and confidence every step of the way.

  • Initial Visit to Georgia: Intended parents are encouraged to visit Georgia for 4-5 days. While comprehensive medical checkups can be completed at local clinics prior to your visit, having the option to do this in Georgia provides flexibility and convenience if preferred. Additionally, in some countries, medications needed for embryo transfer preparation may not be readily available. During your stay, you can purchase these medications and injections in Georgia. Our medical team assists with prescriptions to ensure hassle-free customs clearance upon returning home.
  • Embryo Creation: We initiate the egg donor’s preparation, utilizing frozen sperm to create embryos. If Preimplantation Genetic Screening (PGS) is requested, we perform these tests to ensure embryo viability and health. Following this, we prepare the intended mother’s endometrium, aligning all stages so embryos are ready for transfer when conditions are optimal. This structured approach minimizes delays and maximizes success rates.
  • Medication for Embryo Transfer: After the embryo transfer, intended parents can usually return home within two days. It’s essential to carry enough medication from Georgia to support the pregnancy up to week 16, as some medications might not be available in your home country or align with our protocol. Our medical team provides the necessary prescriptions, ensuring you are equipped not just until the pregnancy test, but through the critical period up to week 16, when most IVF medications are required. This preparation helps maintain consistent hormonal support, minimizing concerns about gaps in care and providing reassurance throughout the early stages of pregnancy.

Suggestions for Flexibility:

If the intended mother prefers to complete all medical checkups at local clinics, only the male intended parent needs to travel to Georgia for 4-5 days for sperm collection. This allows for greater flexibility in planning your visit.

Similarly, during the embryo transfer phase, it is not mandatory for both intended parents to be present. The female intended parent alone can attend for the procedure, as neither legal nor medical requirements necessitate the presence of both. Alternatively, since endometrial preparation is a lengthy process, the male partner may choose to join on the day of the embryo transfer, allowing them to travel back together.

Preparation for Embryo Transfer:

The preparation for embryo transfer typically lasts 18-21 days and protocol is customized based on medical checkup results and the progress of endometrial lining preparation. We offer flexible options to accommodate the needs of intended parents:

  1. Full Preparation in Georgia:Intended parents can choose to be in Georgia from day 1 of the menstrual cycle to complete the entire preparation process under the guidance of our medical team. This ensures comprehensive care and monitoring throughout the preparation.
  2. Partial Preparation Locally:Alternatively, preparation can begin at your local clinic. You would then travel to Georgia around day 12 of the lining preparation, where our medical team will continue and complete the process. This option allows for a seamless transition and continuity of care.
